A day in the south shore kauai- things to do

South Shore Kauai

If your a bit limited on time here are a few things in  the south shore of Kauai to do.

Get a up early and start the day at Waimea canyon and Kokee state park. Take your trainers and do a hike there
to see a great view of the canyon, this hike will take up most of the morning so by the time your finished you would probably be hungry. The best place to eat your lunch would be in the Kukui'ula mall at Bubba's- note Hawaiians are into their meat so don't be surprised if it comes with just meat and cheese- if your order a burger. Best place is Bubba's!
Once lunch is over head over to Sheraton beach as it is a beach that shouldn't be missed. Some other great beaches are baby's beach poipu (ideal for chilling or baby's), poipu beach or PK's beach (prince kuhio).

After you visit one of those beaches I suggest heading towards Allerton garden which is across the road from spouting horn. Allerton gardens is great and it is a tour which makes it better. Just bring bug spray for Allerton.

On the way to Allerton garden and spouting horn is baby's beach which is next to PK's beach, the PK gardens are also there which is nice to give a 5 minute look.

When seeing the spouting horn ( isn't as exciting as promoted) check out the tent stalls next to it they can be interesting.
If you still have time left in late afternoon check out Old Koloa town.

For the evening I would suggest heading back to Kukui'ula shopping centre and have dinner there and looking at the shops. I personally love the shop Mahina.
Lapperts. You must save room for their ice cream! Lapperts ice cream is just mouth watering! I go there twice a day.
If you go when it's Wednesday there is the local farmers market which is worth a look and it's on between 3-6 Wednesdays Kukui'ula mall.
That's the south shore kauai.

Feeling femine

Sometimes I just go through periods where I feel femine and I want to embrace it. What makes us feel this way?!
- summery dresses
-dresses with cute or sexy straps and cut outs
- bikinis
-being around guys
-certain music
-make up
-nail polish
-getting our hair done
- shopping
Especially new dresses
- new styles
-flowers
Flower power
-jewlery
- new beauty products
- perfume
- heels
- girly movies and sleep overs
- lingerie even if it's plain
- getting ready, I experienced this the other day I took an hour and a half to get ready. Shower, moisturiser, bronzer, hair, make up, shoes, outfit, hair again, then fresh nail polish to match the outfit!

How was your day?!

How was your day? It's much a beautiful thing to ask and say. It means someone cares and is asking. My mum asked me this everyday after school, back then I found it annoying and I always replied 'fine' and walked off. I didn't realise it's meaning behind it until now, when I actually think about it 'How was your day' means I'm interested in how your day was and how you were feeling, are you ok? It gives a chance to talk- to bond  It's a form of love and kindness. Caring.
Next time I see my mum I will try to take the time each day to help here and ask her how her day was. Make her day enjoyable.
How is your day?

Ps-my day was great in the state of Hawaii just remembering back to a week ago in beautiful Bali.

A roller coaster ride

Since I have left home a few weeks ago I have had so many amazing things happen!
Some of the few things I did was go shopping in different places, work out and hope abs turn up after that one workout, ride a horse on the beach, ride on motorbikes around Bali, fed a stray cat, tree climbed, surfed, burnt gone red and then peeled, weared cute kinis, see hot guys. Bubbas. See turtles, play with sunshine, felt blessed, hiked in canyons, made friends, gone to church and realised don't believe in Jesus believe in yourself be your own Jesus, listened to amazing music, pool, swim, burn more, seen the orange super moon with a face, laughed and much much more!
Let's not forget lapperts and mahina! πŸ’ƒ

I got lazy like anyone else and I meant to blog and keep my receipts. I arrived last Saturday and it's now Sunday a week later I want to make this holiday but I realise it's up to me and if I want to feel energised I've got to sleep and then wake up early and watch the sunrise have an early jog and beautiful healthy breakfast.
Last night was great I went out with a friends bfs mum and we got dressed up in mahina dresses went to dinner, had gelato which I had so many samples and large scoops-the lady was so kind. Karma ♻️

Then we danced in the entrance of the Hyatt trying to get attention of someone. Laughs all around at a super moon night.
Today I woke up early and experienced church, had a look at cute stores * cough cough* Sand People, beach crush. Their beach decor things are too inspiring for my bedroom!
Then had a clean up of my area, went out to bubbas for the usual burger tom let with fries then back to mahina. I've lost count how many times I went to mahina today! Then of course lapperts. I don't deny myself what makes me happy. After all everything in proportion. πŸ¦πŸ”πŸŸ no 🍴needed.
Then met my friends cousin went to poolies with flower power. Sun flower inflatable.
Then back to bubbas and lapperts for me- I got my stamps and got my free 2 scoop 🍦 taste good free.
Had some music when we came back and then I chilled. I like lightening point Netflix.
Ps I slept awfully last night. Because I saw sunburnt and peeling inwad and am so itchy and kept thinking mosquitoes were biting me. I got hot and cold too! Yikies.

I thought it was time to blog today... I forget what I do, I just enjoy every moment as it comes.
Need to keep to my budget too.

Flying to Manila

Well just flying to Manila has been an adventure of its own and I havnt got to my destination yet.
Manila. My transfer flight to Bali.
I can't even remember Manila the name. I use the part 'man' to help me.
I'm sitting in the Manilan airport, I'm tired, thirsty,  need the toilet and look at everyone suspiciously.
I left heathrow being nervous after saying good bye to my family but I managed to find my flight and get on it.
I left my family I just sat down on the plane it was taking off, i had Demi Lovato blaring through my headphones. I felt a sense of excitement I am a globe trotter. World traveler. Wanderlust.
As soon as I found my seat which was located at the very back of the plane I decided I would go to the seat in front of me as it had two windows. Turns out no one was sitting there anyway. Funnily enough a (I'm presuming he was Filipino, from naga) decided to sit next to my isle seat instead of in the middle. He and his friend were nice enough. He made conversation and at the end of the flight they helped me take my bag down and said goodbye. Being as savvy as I am I've said no to so many people offering to take my carry on and offering me sweets. Just saying my carry on bag is pretty big and heavy!
In the long 12 or so hour flight I slept a lot as I was and am so exhausted. I find that sleeping on your food tray holder is best.
I listened to a lot of Demi lovato and watched a comedy and also saving mr banks which is a really good movie showing how Mary Poppins  was (supposedly) made. Towards the last 2 hours of the flight after waking up and looking like sleeping beauty I watched a fun movie called Barefoot.
As the aeroplane was heading towards landing in Manila I was amazed that the ocean looked so dirty! The thing is it wasn't the ocean, it was flooded land ( well I think it was) Another thing that shocked me was that there are so many houses crammed in together. It's like all of Manila is a plaque of people. Too over crowded and not that great housing with lots of flooding. (Although I don't want to judge as I only saw it from the plane and didn't actually step foot out of the airport.)
Touch down! I'm in Manila safe and sound. Sent family a text, and am sitting waiting for my Bali plane while eating chocolate, craving water and looking at a little brown bird in the building and palm trees.
