Happiness kit

I found this amazing happiness kit online and decided to make one and share it with you.
This thoughtful box is perfect for special occasions, I am using it for my friends wedding present.
It contains a number of small every day house hold items that have a lot of meaning behind them.

In my kit I have included the small items and an explanation note.

A button to press in case of panic
A coin so you are never completely broke
A peg to hold things together when things begin to fall apart
Aspirin for when she gets a headache
A battery for those times you lack energy
A teabag for those great times of contemplation
An eraser to make mistakes disappear
Marbles in case you lose yours

A candle so you can light your way

What's in my travel beauty bags ✈️

Hey there, so I will be jetting of through great big puffs of clouds to the luscious green tropics of Bali and the beautiful Hawaii. I already have my suitcase and everything packed. My beauty essentials tend to be the last things I pack as I tend to use them. I have two beauty bags one for make up and one for skin essentials.
Bag 1. The make up bag

I have a range of summery lip glosses and sticks I rather like girly pink and bright orange colours. Blue is also rather a pretty colour that reminds me of the deep blue ocean.
Mac primer, clearings lip gloss, Clinique lipgloss, lip balm bubble gum flavour, fix me spray, natural collection eye shadow, Clinique mascara, sports girl lipstick, mac paint pot, Dior palette.

Dior blue mascara, clear mascara, natural collection concealer, benefit poise tint, shiseido bb cream, maybelline bouncy blush, benefit harvana blush, some other blushes and eyeliners.
Compact mirrors, pads, makeup remover, tangle teaser, sharpener, brushes
Bag 2. The skin essentials

As I'm going to the sunny side of the world I need to protect and hydrate my skin from the sun so I have packed a few sun creams, mists and moisturisers.
Basic essentials and a heap of hair ties as they always disappear into a black hole!
Face mists and moisturisers
Let's get rid of those horrible Mosquitos
Keeping the feminine side and health.
And lastly... Body mist!

Hope you enjoyed. See you soon.

Healthy food ideas

As requested I have tried out some scrummy healthy food ideas and here they are!
The lettuce sandwhich

My first idea was to make a lettuce sandwhich. Instead of using bread you can use lettuce which is much better for you. Any ingredients can go into it, for mine I put tomato, cucumber, sun dried tomatoes, spring onion and avocado.

The ombré smoothie

Here I made two different smoothie mixes. I put the yellow in first and then the red colour and lightly stirred it with my straw until it started turning ombré.
Yellow part: banana, apple, pineapple
Red part: water melon, strawberries
Mix both with apple juice and water
Feel free to put whatever fruit you like. Chop and change it.

The fruit ice cream

This is too easy it's ridiculous. All you have to do is cut up two bananas a cup of blueberries put them in the freezer (I like to do that before I go to bed and leave them overnight) then take them out and blend them until a thick smooth paste ice cream. If needed you can put this back into the freezer.

The salad
This salad would be ideal for a hot summers day dinner or a lunch.
In this salad I have a serving of cous cous, boiled potato and mayo with spring onion, Greek salad, beet root salad with feta, and green beans. This meal is so tasty and filling.

I hope you found this useful and have fun playing with your food... Ingnore your parents, food is best when you play with it as you end up creating something amazing.

What's in my beach bag

When I go to beautiful sun warming beaches I think that If I decide to go for a swim and have to leave my pretty little beach bag all by itself things might happen to it! Yes I'm talking about some nasty stealing it or taking important things out.
My conclusion is that less is more. Your not going to a girly slumber party...

What's in my orange striped beach bag?
-Sunglasses to protect the eyes
-Water to rehydrate
-A book or magazine go read or a blog...
-A towl to dry off
-Sun cream to stay looking youthful and protect our body
-Phone with music to make it groovy
-Speakers or headphone to match
-Water proof phone case for those stunning shots
-Food to energise
-Money for those emergencies
-lip balm to moisten lips

Get clear skin and rid acne scarring

First thing I have to say is things don't happen over night so don't expect it too! Be patient. Be loving. Be kind. And good things will happen.
There's that certain time in our youth that you may get spots or acne scarring which we secretly dislike but have to accept. If you make a few changes to your lifestyle I have a few tips that will help fade scarring and banish those annoying spots.

My my mother always nags me about the amount of junk food I eat and that it creates spots... Lies. The junk food does upset your hormones though which the wild hormones then decide to plop a big spot on your face right before a date.

Sleep is key. Your body heals and nurtures itself while you sleep. Your body is a temple and you need to care for your temple as it has many years to go. If your so tired your body doesn't function properly and that means when your wanting your spots to go they won't, more will appear! If your body is a happy one it will heal things much quicker.

Water helps to flush out any bad toxins through your body. You can tell when your drinking enough because your pee should be clear. Water is a miracle in a liquid form and I notice that when I drink plenty blue liquid my face doesn't breakout so much!

Exercise she groaned as she dragged herself to the sweaty gym... Don't be that type of person! Be the happy, energetic sporty person that we love. The gym shouldn't be a bad thing, if you make it your good habit you will find that it's a new hobby. It tones you, energises you and is fantastic for your body! With all this energy and happy endorphins your body's releasing it combined with water should tame your acne and help nourish your body which will help it heal your scarring.

Vitamin E. Vitamin e is all I have to say. Once upon a time I tried vitamin e in capsules but in a liquid pill, I didn't eat it but cut it open and poured the sticky magical stuff on my face and went to sleep. I've been using it ever since, but I brought a bottle instead. I cannot explain how much this has helped fade scarring.

Oval shaped yellow lemons with too much groove I can't handle! Lemons are another natural way to help reduce scarring with so many wonderful benefits packaged along. It's great to use inside and out.

Travel bags organisation

Yes I know... It's the hardest thing to only pack things you need but you end up packing things you don't actually need and overpacking.
I love creating lists as I always find they help me refocus and are just a fantastic thing in general! So without further ado let me present you with you checklist for your travel bags...
You will need 3 bags and 3 bags only!

Bag 1. The suitcase
Clothes:
Day wear ( 2 or 3 outfits), evening wear (2 outfits) special occasion (1 that's if you have a special occasion), sleep wear (1 a week is more than enough), underwear (7 undies, 2 bras), socks (5)
Baring in mind you can wash these as they shouldn't take too long to dry. A little soap does it!
Other: shoes, accessories, swimwear, 1 bag and use this for everything, a little make up and toiletries does it.

Bag 2. Handbag
I find this is great for the carry on items and then use my carry on bag for things that would be in my suitcase but put some in the carry on ( important things e.g laptop or bikinis or shoes).
Phone & charger, headphones, magazine & book, chewy sweets for take off and landing, water, purse & money, toothpaste & brush, camera, pen & pad, your essential check list- passport, tickets, itinery & contacts.

Bag 3. The carry on
Like I said in the handbag section some over flow or just important things that would go in your suitcase but you'd rather have it in you carry on with you.

Good luck dear happy packer!

Travelling organisation-The basics

The panic leading up to a big trip can be too stressful if you let it- especially if you leave everything right until the last minute!  So I thought I'd share what I like to do when I'm going on a flight or long journey. ( I am going to Hawaii and Bali in July and guess who's started to plan already?!)
I would start preparing at least one month before, some people may say this is far too early but I forever see the panic is my mothers eyes when she packs last minute and I don't want to take that path. Best to stay relaxed.
You a best to pack one month before and the best way to start is to create a check list, lists in general are a great thing to have especially if you don't want to forget anything.

The most important thing is to make sure you have a passport, it's in date and you know where it is.

You also need you tickets as you won't get going anywhere without them either! (Make sure you've printed them out)

Then create a itinerary based on where you are going, I suggest if you don't know anything about the place buy a travel book- some great brands are: rough guides, eye witness travel. Your local book store should have some.
Once you've done your passport, tickets, itinerary and research make sure you have accommodation and that they know when your coming. It's also a great idea to have a lists of contacts and some transport ideas as well as plenty of money of money as you never know what could happen. Now create a folder and put all if this in and label it so you won't lose it!
I hope you found this useful and I will be posting more travel posts with my trip looming and being in reaching distance.
